Days Inns - Canada is a proud supporter of the Childhood Cancer Foundation - Candlelighters Canada (CCFCC), an organization dedicated to childhood cancer research and to improving the quality of life for children with cancer and their families. In the last three years, Days Inns - Canada, its hotel owners, staff and guests have raised over $175,000 to help the CCFCC fight childhood cancer.

This September, Days Inn locations across Canada are participating in the fourth annual Gold Ribbon Campaign to raise funds for childhood cancer research. Here’s how Days Inns - Canada helps:

1. From September 1-30, guests can make a donation to sign their name on a gold paper ribbon. Ribbons will be prominently displayed at the front desk.
2. During the week of September 14-20, Days Inn owners across Canada will donate a minimum of $1 from every guest room sold that week. You can help by staying at any Days Inn across Canada during the week of September 14-20, 2009.

Founded in 1987 by a mother who lost her child to cancer, the CCFCC is a unique national charity exclusively supporting the fight against childhood cancer in Canada. The Foundation provides support programs, funds research and advocates for children and their families who are affected by cancer.
