“Extremely disappointed”

Checked in at 10pm and unloaded all of our bags into the room only to find that the heater would only operate on "high". Since we were so tired and didn't want to pack up our stuff and move it to a different room, we were almost prepared to overlook it, but then we found out that the deadbolt didn't work.We asked for, and were given a different room - the deadbolt and heater both worked. However, the heater clanked on every 8-10 minutes with such force that it sounded as if someone was breaking in the door. Needless to say, we didn't get much sleep.Upon checkout, we told the cashier about the problems we'd had and were told, "Sorry, looks like you caught us on a bad night." Bad night? That doesn't explain the dirty, smelly rooms with carpeting so bad that we didn't even want to take our shoes off.
