“Old but clean”

  , Evansville
This hotel is fine for the money. If you don't expect a lot, then you won't be disappointed. The rooms are small, but the AC works good. The TV's are old, but they work and have all the channels which is nice. Rooms have mini fridge and microwave which comes in handy as well. The shower had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water (one of the best I've ever had at a hotel). Would be nice to have an exhaust fan in the bathroom though it does have a small window you can open but not ideal. They open the comp-breakfast at 6:30am but don't open the front door until 7am which makes no sense. They should open their breakfast at 4am to better accommodate the hunters who make up a large portion of their clientele. The bed was to soft and the pillows where to hard which made for an uncomfortable sleep for me and my father. The rooms are kept very clean everyday and none of my stuff was stolen. Didn't use the pool b/c it wasn't open (to cold). I think they have an outdoor hot tub too, however I didn't use it. Hotel is in a good location within town, however, not much for views. The staff seemed very nice and honest. I definitely wouldn't be scared to stay here again.
