“Check in”

I was disappointed with my check in experience. The person who I got at the check in seemed in a rush to get me gone. She picked up the phone 3 times when I was checking in. She asked me when I needed my shuttle in the morning and yet didn't give me time to look for my documents before she was asking for me to sing papers and give her my credit card. While reading the peice if paper she asked me to sign, this person requested me to sign the price of paper again not allowing me to understand what she was asking me to sign. She did not explain to me the hold she was putting in my credit card for the room and was put off when I asked why she was charging my card a higher amount than my room price. She also didn't explain where I was to park or where my room was. When I asked since I was parking my vehicle for a week, she made me feel incompitent like I should have known I could park anywhere in the lot. For directions to my room she pointed one way. When I wandered in that direction a found an elevator. I had to get out my key card to figure out I was on the forth floor. I would appreciate patience and kindness in the future. It was not a great first impression especially after driving for 5 hours. I called the front desk at other times and got exceptional service. My check out experience was great! One more recommendation would be a list of or menus of restaurants in the area available at the front desk or in the rooms.
