“Would not return, not worth money”

  , Aiken
This hotel was very old and musty. The staff were wonderful but other than that it wasn't good. Upon arriving, the hotel looked run down and the lobby smelled like STRONG cheap purfume. There is no comp breakfast, only a discount at their in-house "restaurant". The beds were ok, but bathrooms were old and stained. Bad stains in our toliet and tub. Didn't feel clean. All of the AC units outside the rooms were leaking. No one was trying to fix it all weekend...instead they put towels down to try to stop the leaks. The other guest clientele was questionable. I saw several "families" that appeared to be living there long term. One of the families were involved with an incident where police were called. Overall a poor hotel, wouldn't return at all.
