“A good stay”

  , Grand Canyon
The room was nice fairly clean, big room with king bed, large older flat screen TV, table and chairs for eating, desk for working. The only issue we had was the shower, other reviewers have stated the shower is for short people. This is true. I am 5'4", and it was fine for me, but if you are over 6' you will have to duck to get under the shower head. The water temperature was an issue also. Both my husband and I experienced issues with the water being hot and cold with no warning! Taking a nice hot shower only to have the water go ice cold, then hot again was a problem. The lobby is beautiful, the front desk person was inviting and very nice. The swimming pool is huge, although it was closed for the season. We didn't try the breakfast, and the lobby bar was closed for the season, so don't know about the service or drink quality. All in all this is a hotel I would recommend to friends. We paid $90 for 2 nights on Thanksgiving weekend which we thought was a good price considering it is in Flagstaff. We were in room 141 and yes we could hear the train. This was not an issue for us, but might bother some people.
