“About what you'd expect”

  , Chino
I was able to get the room at a rate that made it cheapest in town, even less than the places in worse parts of town. This is not a high class place, but never claimed to be. Cheap place to stay over night while in town on business. The room has a musty odor, the caulking in shower was separated from the wall, toothpaste build up was obvious in the sink, the chair at the desk had some strange stains that prompted me to cover the chair with a towel. The drawer in the desk had a hole in it. The TV did not work, something wrong with the picture tube. Some of the chairs around the pool were broken, and the light in the pool was either not working or did not get turned on. Lobby smelled like cigarette smoke. A few vehicles passed through during the day that looked suspicious (from all appearances guys parking around back to make use of the services of hookers or do drugs).Positives: The staff was friendly as were some of the guests that I spoke with. The AC worked great, shower had good pressure and warm water. Overall it was quiet for the time I was there and given that I expected much worse for the cheap rate I paid, I can't complain to much. I've stayed in worse places, but next time I will probably pay a little bit more for a nicer hotel in Scottsdale.I did not have their breakfast or use their free wifi. My cell phone's 4g had great signal so I wifi-tethered off of my 4g, I sum this place up like this: If you need a cheap place to stay a day or two and aren't a picky sort and simply looking for clean sheets, no bugs and something close to downtown Phoenix, this place will work. If you are on a vacation or looking for a romantic getaway or are picky and looking for perfectly clean and loads of comfort, pay more for a nicer place in Scottsdale.
