“Mouse in My House!”

I stay at this hotel every week, because of the location, recommendation from co-workers and an affordable price point. The owners need to invest in this property. The property needs to be cleaned up and properly maintained. The carpet in the common areas and rooms are filthy and need to be either replaced or shampooed. The bathrooms need new shower curtains they are plastic, have mold and mildew. Each week when I arrive, I have to use a bottle of bleach in the tub and disinfect with lysol, prior to unwinding and relaxing. The mouse in my house nearly drove me crazy. When I first reported it, no action was taken. Once I spoke with the manager, a trap was laid. The housekeeping staff are not the best. They need to focus more on details - thorough vacuum, dusting, polish, shining and disinfecting - with brand name cleaning products instead of generics. Overall the staff is friendly - I know them by name. The breakfast sucks - eggs, biscuits, waffle, orange, apple, milk, coffee, danish - common on folks - where's the meat? I believe if they cleanup the hotel - shampoo the carpet and properly disinfect the rooms they could sell out every night.
