“Would not reccomend”

  , San Diego
I stayed at this hotel due to its location and price. I arrived a little after 2 PM and had to wait outside the lobby for almost 10 minutes to check in, as the front desk was apparently on a break. The room was not very clean, I found hairs on the counters and some dirt around the sink and tub area. The towels were very thin and had an odd smell to them. The toilet paper was very cheap and thin and rough. When I went to go to sleep I found the bed to be very firm and uncomfortable. The bed had three very small, hard pillows per bed. After I fell asleep I was awakened multiple times by very loud noises coming from next door. The next morning I went outside to get breakfast and saw a homeless-looking man standing in the hot tub in his underwear, smoking a cigarette and apparently showering. The housekeeping staff replaced the towels and remade the bed during the day. The second night I was awakened by more loud noises coming from the room next door, and then a little after 1 AM someone was knocking on my door. I opened the door and the guy identified himself as the front desk clerk and asked me if I had lost a cell phone. He showed me the phone in his hand and I was amazed that he would come knocking on people's door in the middle of the night over a lousy phone. The third night's stay was rather uneventful and the only night that I had a decent sleep. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.
