“Thank goodness for the ice bucket”

The location was handy; however, the close proximity to the train tracks and the fact that Tucson does not have a noice abatement policy with the railroad resulted in trains blowing the whistles almost hourly all night long. The room was spacious; however, there was a minimal effort put into cleaning. I'm not sure, but it appeared the sheets on either bed had not been changed from the previous visitor. There was a collection of dust/dirt and the front of the bathtub and mold growing on the walls.Lastly, the toliet did not work properly. It was late when I arrived, I was already in my pajamas, and the last thing I wanted to was get dressed again. I filled the ice bucket with water and force flushed the toliet. So, luckily I checked in late and checked out early and was able to work around the toliet. I did report it to the desk, and all she said was, "I'll have someone look at it." She did not offer to return the used points to the rewards program. In this instance, I believe that would be the correct customer service approach.
