“You Get What You Pay For”

TV was red, TV remote didn't work, Commode ran after flushing and had to be turned off manually by lifting the tank lid, breakfast was horrible and when I got there consisted of 1 dried up piece of egg, 1 biscuit, some dried up gravy - person behind the desk had to fix breakfast for me and 2 other couples that came down, no paper plates ( yes, paper), only bowls. Internet connection didn't work. Non-smoking room but smelled of smoke. All staff I encountered complained of management or the hotel. Lady at the desk when I checked in didn't know where ice machine was - said she just started and they didn't even show her around. Not able to change day of departure without still paying the full price - online customer service said the front desk should be able to do that - they said they couldn't or would get fired. Courtney tried to help and talked to customer service - a manager talked with them and said he would get back with me but never did. Tall blond girl at the front desk was very rude. Finally got fed up with everything and left 2 days early forfeiting the rest of my stay. Going back to Bentonville in a couple weeks but not Days Inn.
