“Not worth what we paid”

Didn't start off too great. The young man at front desk gave us a key to someone else's room and we walked into a strangers room at 12:30am. That was super embarrassing and I bet scary for the other person. All he did was say sorry and rush the other person off the phone when they called to see what the hell was going on. The room seemed nice at first glance and then we went into the bathroom and there was mold in the shower and on the ceiling and it was peeling. I'm allergic to mold so needless to say I went no where near that shower and had to leave to shower elsewhere. The bed was SUPER hard. And was literally the worst sleep of my life. I always bring my own food on long road trips but my husband didn't want to eat what I bought so he tried it and said it was disgusting and ended up eating what I brought. While eating in the breakfast area a lady was eating and we got to talking and she said she was super hungry but was having a hard time eating the cold and rubbery food. So I offered he some of my eggs and grapes and she took it. I'm glad I was able to help someone.With all that to say the manager says to me well what would you like for me to do? Are you expecting a full refund? Can't we just have you shower in a different room? Told him I didn't wanna spend another minute there and had to get back on the road. So he offered us $25 off. Don't think I'll be staying there again.
