“Worst experience in a Days Inn ever”

  , Cabot
The first room that I was given had not been cleaned. It was filthy (bed not made, dirty wet towels on floor, trash overflowing). When I went back to front desk, the girl looked at her listing & swore that the room had been cleaned. She gave me another room key & this was much better, HOWEVER, there were coffee supplies in the room but no coffee maker. The tv reception was terrible & there were along about 20 channels available = poor variety. In the morning, I went to see what was for breakfast in the lobby. If you overlooked the filth & clutter, the breakfast counter was still in bad shape. The food selections were meager & poor quality. I tried to eat a danish, but it was stale. There were no eggs. The sausage tasted like it had been cooked in gasoline. The front desk attendant was a tatooed & pierced teenager, so I did not waste my time lodging a complaint. I need to get back on the road, so that I could attend my meeting in Dallas. I went across the street to McDonalds & then hit the highway....never to return to this rat hole. I forgot to mention the cockroach that I saw in my bathroom, as I exited the shower. This hotel needs a complete makeover!!!!
