Days Inn Suites Pocahontas

Thank you for staying with us at the Days Inn & Suites of Pocahontas Arkansas! We have not had an indoor pool or hot tub for almost 2 years (September of 2011) and it has been off of the official Days Inn website for that long. If you looked on any website other than daysinn.com I cannot guarantee that third party websites have current and up to date information on our property. Days Inn is not associated with those websites other than their ability to make reservations. I do apologize if they showed anything except the most current, up to date information on their website but I have no control over what they show on there. I have sent my corporate office request to contact those companies, at least one in particular, and they have sent an email to the travel agency about the pool not being offered at this property any longer. We thank you for staying at the Days Inn & Suites in Pocahontas! We do appreciate your comments and suggestions. We do have to do extra cleaning occasionally in our smoking rooms due to the nicotine and other residue from the cigarette smoke. Unfortunately that room must have been missed as we do our deep cleaning on the smoking rooms. We do have to go through, strip the bathroom floors with a commercial grade stripping chemical, and use commercial grade cleaning materials with a carpet shampooer to eliminate those issues in the smoking rooms. I do apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused you during your stay, but you waited until you were checking out of the property, after a 3 night stay, before you came to us with aforementioned issues. We unfortunately did not have a chance to move you from the room, or to try to accommodate you in any way. I do feel that we could have accommodated you if you would have let us know as soon as you had issues instead of 3 days later upon check out. We are in the process of doing renovations to the property and the owner's are considering upgrading the rooms with microwave/fridge combo. units. When this property was built it was not a standard feature for most hotel properties, but since has become a standard feature. We are always looking to comments and suggestions from our guest's for ideas to better serve their needs. Thank you for staying with us at the Days Inn & Suites! We are currently using the pool room as a temporary storage room as we continue to remodel the property. We do not want to fill it in yet as we are still hoping that the new regulations will be changed to allow us to operate it again in the future. I have also spoken with owner's several times about including microwave and refrigerator's and they seem like they may be interested in making that upgrade to this property, I just am unsure as to when they would like to implement that plan. We do appreciate you choosing us for your lodging needs while traveling through our area. « hide
