“Old property and it shows”

  , Vancouver
Old property. Modest attempt at updating. Rooms were small. The gaps in the door were excessive, and when combined with the laminate flooring in the room, noise from the hall may have been in the room itself. There wasn't enough room st stand in front of the sink without standing in the tub, you needed to stand beside the sink. There was something wrong with the TV cable and it was impossible to watch a clear TV program. You could wiggle the cable and it would improve, but would lose it as soon as you let go. Wireless was lethargic, and while better than some hotels, still not adequate for business use, especially with a company VPN. The air conditioning barely worked and maybe kept the room at 25 degrees when on full (which was unbearably noisy and couldn't be kept on to sleep. Then the issue was waking up every few hours drenched in sweat from the heat. Horrible stay. Next time I will spend the extra $50 per night to stay at a hotel where I can at least sleep. On the positive side, it was clean and the front desk girls were pleasant enough, but that didn't come close to offsetting the horrible physical hotel.
