“If you are going to need laundry, directions, kindness, service, luggage cart, this is not the place for you.”

 
My first review: This Days Inn Anaheim Maingate is a poor representation of Days Inn. Left here and found great motel, cleaner vents, much more customer service, luggage cart, indoor pool, extended check out time, and laundry service advertised was actually -----------available -----unlike Days Inn Maingate where everything was broken and misinformaiton and apathy given instead of service. Stay anywhere else but here! The room looks nice for the price, but.... Turn on the AC/heat and even if your allergies were minor before, wheezing, runny nose/eyes, will quickly ensue. If the floor gets wet from the leaking micro-mini fridge, feet will feel like stepping in syrup. The TV did not work the first night, the safe could not work the entire time. . Dirty pillow and snotty, candied, pillow slip. Only the nighttime mature male manager seemed to realize we were people. Even though I am a single senior woman with use of only l good arm, and a child with disability, our room was positioned in back with no parking, and NO help, or luggage carrier. Was told they had no place to store one, though two would fit neatly between ice and vending machine. They refused to help in any way. Bus (ART)#3 to Disneyland drove by three times without stopping. Had to pick it up at the next motel stop #1 couple blocks away. Its walking distance to Disney IF you daily walk 3-5 miles a day its fine, but after walking all over Disney, feet are burning and the wait or walk back is dreadfl.-even if you are the lucky one, to get first load back. Kids are too tired to wait. If you quailfy for disability pass, the front desk doesn't even have them, buy the reduced pass at Disneyland kiosk. Most of all, the motto here is, "We are here only to collect your money". Your needs are not our buisness. If you are diabetic or gluten intolerant. Avoid breakfast. There are no eggs, no yogurt, no meat, no whole grain products. White flour sugar goods.
