“Move Trip from Phoenix to Seattle”

  , Mountlake Terrace
We drove from Phoenix all day to arrive at the hotel at 10:00 PM. I had my daughter and 2 year old grandson with me and we were all ready for a warm shower and a good nights sleep before we hit the road early in the morning. The location seemed good, since it was easy off and on to Hwy. 99. When we pulled in, there were a lot of people hanging out in the parking lot. Many just haning out in their cars playing loud music from their stereo systems. (This went on until 12:30 in the morning, so it was very hard to sleep). The entrances to the rooms leave a lot to be desired. I felt like I was entering a run-down hotel. When we get into the room, there were no towels to take a shower. We ended up grabbing those ourselves after we got something to eat at one of the restaurants close to the hotel, which is nice. Not a lot of choices after 10PM though. The room was clean, but there is a lot of patch work in them. It's like they fix whatever problem there is, but they don't make it look nice afterwards. Holes were patched, but not painted, water damaged fixed, but not painted over. For the price we paid, I expected better. The next morning when we got up, we noticed that the pool area was nicely kept (we didn't swim) and the lobby was clean, and the over-all area outside the hotel wasn't bad. But the first impression arriving at night was not good and we both felt uncomfortable, to say the least.
