“Gave them a chance...never again”

  , La Vernia
I only booked this hotel because I thought it was a different one across the street. I am a wyndham rewards member so I thought I would stay there anyway. It used to be the "Supreme Inn" just recently changed to Days Inn. The hotel was not as clean as I would like, no bugs and clean sheets so I figured I would give them a try the first night I slept alright, but still thinking about cleanliness and the people next door were extremely loud all night ( the hotel was almost empty, could have booked the rooms further apart.) The next night was chilly so my husband and I turned on the heater only to find that it kept shorting out the GFI and then we smelt burning wires. My husband is an electrician and we own an elecrtical contracting company. When I called the front desk to request that we move to a room with a working heater. He argued with me and told me to press the button ( the GFI button on the plug in cord) I informed him our knowledge of electrical issues, he continued to argue with me and refused to move our room. Finally after my husband went down to speak with him we were moved, at 2 am into a room next to the stair way with a door that slammed everytime the staff or customers going up or downstairs ( there is no elevator in this hotel, only the staircases.) Needless to say our sleep that night was very broken ( everytime the door slammed I was awoke) The staff was rude, and I was very dissatified with this hotel, would never stay there again, go across the street to the comfort inn, all staff speak english, very clean rooms, more amenities, comparable price, WAY more peaceful rest
