“Booked by mistake”

  , Carson
I booked a room at this hotel mistakenly. I have stayed in Corning before, however was with a different chain. I made the reservation with Days Inn purely on hotel reputation, believing it to be the same chain I had stayed at before when in Corning. Upon arrival, the hotel was dirty and I immediately knew it wasn't the hotel I'd stayed at before...however, I'd already made the reservation and it was past cancellation deadline so I decided to stay anyway. I required a handicapped accessible room. The first room I was checked in to, I could not even wheel the wheelchair into the room because there wasn't enough width between the bed and another piece of furniture (don't even know how they could call it "handicapped accessible") I will say the staff tried very hard to accommodate my needs - that is the only plus I can give them. Walls were very thin, bed was uncomfortable and the smallest queen bed I have ever seen in my life. Furnishings were very old and tired - just not a pleasant experience.
