Like most, I found this hotel to be the most economical deal without being a flea bag motel. Upon check-in, it felt like immediately I wasn't trusted to not throw a kegger. I'm a married 39 year old woman travelling with my husband, so pretty sure keggers are in my past. When registering, you have to sign off that you won't have any guests in your room after 10pm. What? My mother can't come see me at my hotel while I'm visiting? Why am I being told that I can't have anyone else in my room to visit me? All I can guess is this property must have had problems with parties in the past, but to tell your guests that are paying $75-$100/night for a room that they have a curfew is really odd. The reception workers were pleasant, but less than talkative. The cleaning staff seemed to be hard working as I noticed them quickly knocking out their cleaning the next morning. The pool looked clean, but I wasn't able to use it since it would have been past curfew. Lobby was also clean. I'm not sure where you buy mattresses and pillows made with a mixture of foam and cement, but you may just ask this Days Inn because they've obviously found it. My husband is a Marine and has slept in some crappy places and even he had a hard time sleeping on these beds/pillows. I realize this isn't a high-end hotel, but Days Inn are supposed to be mid-range with a decent bed. This bed/pillow combo was what I would expect at a lower-end motel. The A/C was questionable and at the coldest level, we could still weren't able to use a blanket on the bed because it was too warm in the room. I'm 5' 10" and the shower head was just under shoulder height. It would have been a back bend to wash my hair. The water pressure was good though! A lot of minor issues add up to a less than average quality to this hotel. I wouldn't stay at this Days Inn location again. I'll pay the extra $10-$20/night and find another hotel in the area.
