“Days Inn Nepean”

 
First of all my heater made annoying noise keeping me up in room room 601 and pipes made noise for a long time after running bath ...then I had to switch for 2nd week to roo m 510 and the lap shades were all cracked and wallpaper starting to peel off the wall ..frig was dirty with arks on the handle of blueberry like jam... something was buzzing in the wall by the bed between 11 pm and 3 am ..kept me up staff came to listen and heard but thought it was a faint sound..it was an annoying sound that caused me to loose sleep they said they would move me but I had three suitcases and was there for medical reasons and was tired so I stayed in room 501 as I was not into packing and moving again ... Rico and Mina and a new young blonde girl who worked at night were wonderful ... so friendly and kind and I really hope you acknowledge their professionalism with either a promotion or something because they were a pleasure to deal with . The manager was not so pleasant Nimrose I think her name is. SHe did not try to discount my room issues as I was there for 2 and a half weeks and she knocked off a tad off my bill but not anything to make up for the issues. I hope Rico and Mina could be of management material despite Rico's english skills.. ( he thinks his english is not good but I certainly disagree ... I think he speaks good enough english to become a key player with your company he deserves it !!! Otherwise friendly staff all around the maintenance men and the cleaning staff super friendly :) which made up for the disappointment of the room issuesThank you for asking :) The following questions below are in relation to my experience with Mina and Rico mostly Nimrose the Manager I found did not listen to my concerns at first she did but then she had a reason for my annoyance...like saying " you are super sensative to sound" ..No there is a strange noise in the heater and in the plumbing and in the wall... seriously there was Dana Lynn ThomasThank you kindly
