“Disappointed...”

  , Ridgecrest
I was very disappointed by this hotel. When we first arrived and entered the room I immedietly received a phone call from the front desk asking me to keep the kids quiet because our neighbor was a graveyard employee. While I can appreciate her effort, it was NOON! I had 3 kids with me, 2 -9 year olds and my daughter who just turned 10. This was her birthday weekend with her friends. We drove 2 1/2 hours to Ontario to enjoy some of the local attractions. Needless to say, we left the room and returned around 9 pm... only to receive yet another phone call upon entering the room. At this point I told the lady she was out of luck, I stayed away much longer than intended because of the graveyard worker. I had 3 tired little girls who were going to watch a little TV and go to bed. Then the best part... showers, or rather cold pelting water! Then drying off... the towels were so hard that we felt like we were using sandpaper. Now for the bed, which was as hard as the floor. I have stayed at several Days Inn, and this was by far the worst. The picture is deceiving... my recommendation would be to pay $24 more dollars a night and stay at the Hilton or Ayers.
