“Disappointment”

The staff was very friendly and courteous and helpful. The room was comfortable. The amenities were missing....TV did not work for 24 hours until a repairman came midafternoon of the second day of our stay. We went to visit family and spent most of our stay in the room...no Tv to watch the presidential debates. The microwave did not work, which was a real inconvenience as we often ate in the room...no way to heat food. We were unable to gain access to the pool or hot tub until the afternoon of second day as the batteries were low in the door lock. We chose Day's Inn over another nearby less expensive motel solely because of the pool. I requested a waiver of the pet fee of $15.00 in exchange for the lack of amenities as advertised. I was told the manager would make that decision and someone would get back to me. After I emailed the motel someone finally responded and said he would issue the pet fee refund. I still have not seen that it has been refunded nor do I know how it will be refunded. I will probably be visiting family in Rio Rancho a couple times a year and will probably choose another motel. I have stayed at your motel on 3 other occasions with problems each time.
