“NEVER stay again”

  , Downey
I appreciated being called ahead of about the elevator not being in service but I find it hard to believe that it was going to take 2-3 weeks to get the part they needed. I mean where was it coming from, out of the country? The air conditioner was not working correctly and there was a broken nub on of the drawers. There was a great fresh breeze that came thru the room but I had to close the door at night before I went to bed because the rude hotel restaurant decided their loud bass music was more important than the paying customers staying right across the pool. The room was okay, I was happy that I got a pool view but once nighttime came around my smile turned upside down. I had an early morning the first night I was there and apparently the owner of the restaurant located in front of the pool was celebrating the one year anniversary till 1:30am! I understand the hotel may have no affiliation with the restaurant, so I called the front desk and asked how long this party would be going on because I needed to get some sleep and I could hear it thru my closed door. I would have changed rooms but the hotel was completely booked. The staff seemed liked he cared and said he would call and ask if they could turn down the bass. I got three hours of sleep, no thanks to that stupid restaurant. I paid for my room and that's what I had to deal with along with their elevator being out of service, which is soo much fun walking up and down the stairs in my heels, since I was there for a friend's wedding. There were other hotel guests that were loud in the parking lot and I felt the hotel staff could have done more to shut them up. I appreciated that staff were not a-holes to since I had to call two nights in a row about noise complaints but I just did not have the relaxing and comfortable stay that I was hoping to get. I know you "get what you pay for" and I've stayed at many hotels but I was not pleased with this stay. If you do have no other choice than to stay here, bring some ear plugs but the restaurant will probably be having a party till 2am.
