“My husband and I arrived around 9pm for the check-in day...”

My husband and I arrived around 9pm for the check-in day since we were driving from the bay area after work. When we entered the room assigned by the front desk lady after checked in, we were very surprised that we got a queen size bed instead of a king size bed as ordered online about two weeks ahead of time. We went to the lobby and talked to the same lady about the bed issue, and she said she didn't know anything about the size of the bed. I told her I still have the confirmation email stating I ordered a king size bed. She was defensive, and I told her I wasn't blaming her but just sharing what we ordered and agreed to pay for online. She tried to look up on her computer and said the only room she could give us with a king size bed was the one right in front of the street. My husband and I, without any other choices, agreed but it was so noisy at all times, including bed time and dawn. Fortunately, I prepared 2 pair of earplugs for sleep and it helped. Cleanliness was a disaster. There were two sets of pillows for each person - one long and one short. When I looked inside the pillow case of the long ones, I couldn't believe my eyes. Both long pillows have yellow stains all over from previous uses...that means drooling during sleep from past users at the inn. The short ones were without stains...I thought it'd be much better if the inn used two pillow cases for each long pillows to just hide the yellow stains from view...Carpet was very dirty with stains. I looked at the white-colored bottom of my new slippers, and it became gray. The couch inside the room has two to three big stains on it, and it looks so dirty for anyone to want to sit on it. The toilet stopped working properly the second night of our stay, and we were perplexed about what we were going to do before we checked out the following day. My husband went down to the pool area to see if there was a restroom to use but couldn't find one either...Terrible, terrible experience. I will spare talking about the ugly white light in the whole room...The room number of the room we stayed at was 255. Stay away from it!!
