“Won't stay here again”

  , Houston
Motel room wasn't bad but family managing this Days Inn goes through luggage. I startled the couple cleaning the rooms when I stepped into the doorway and asked for clean towels for our room. He was busy digging through someone's suitcase. We had planned to stay for 3 days, but needless to say we left after one night. When we notified the desk, we quickly realized they were all family and the one going through the luggage was the father. The manager that was called over from somewhere else was the son. So they tried to tell us the many reasons why the father would need to be going through someone's luggage. Then we tried to go to Motel 6 but apparently they were family (or friends) with the Days Inn family and had received a call about us "whisleblowers". Stay somewhere else.
