I would expect the front desk to inform you in the instance you described if they knew about it. They knew about it because the gentleman who struck your car informed them. He has been working on the whirlpool trying to correct a number of debilitating issues.Thank you for your business. « hide

We are an older property but we are slowly but surely trying to renovate our rooms. At this time we only offer the renovated rooms to our guests that are paying full price (example not booking through third parties and getting a discounted rate). We currently only have 26 rooms that have been renovated and upgraded. I will talk to my Housekeeping Manager and make sure they are staying on top of cleaning our elevators and hallways. I am sorry for any problems you may of had during your stay but we hope you give us another chance in the future. Thank you! « hide

The front desk tried to work with you when you changed the original number of rooms that were booked online at the online rate. The easy fix should have been to simply reinstate the rooms that you cancelled instead of re-booking them at the non-online (higher) rate. You were reimbursed for the difference and my apologies for that problem.Four people inspected the room and found what they believed to be pet hair. We do not charge people lightly but we charge guests for bringing pets (excluding certified service dogs) on property and or for smoking. I would modify the title version of this review to read: Do not stay here if you intend to smoke or bring pets (excluding certified service pets) into the buildings.I am continually amazed by people who bring pets into the hotel or smoke in their rooms and then are aghast that we actually charge them. The registration card every guest is required to sign at check in is very straight forward. There are check boxes that are required to be marked and initialed by the guest that state the NO PET and NO SMOKING policy of the hotel; and that the guest will be charged if either of these items they checked, initialed, and signed off on is violated . It DOES NOT MATTER if the guest who signed the card did not personally smoke or bring a pet in the room; they are responsible for whatever happens in that room. The registration card is a quasi-contract. We are careful and do not haphazardly charge people. The evidence must be strong. The number of people who prevaricate about pets and smoking is depressingly high. « hide
