“Awful experience!”

  , Arlington
We have stayed at several Days Inn hotels in the past, so we didn't hesitate to book here for a friend's wedding in the area, despite the outrageously steep price tag (for a Days Inn). It was $150 for the room, so we assumed it would be nice. Boy, were we wrong. We were disappointed from the moment we arrived. When we walked into the room from the outdoor entrance, we were overcome by the nauseating smell of mold and Lysol. Even after we left our window open, we couldn't get past it. The rooms looked like they have never been updated. We didn't even want to shower in the room. After getting the worst sleep of our lives in the uncomfortable bed, we couldn't wait to get out of there. We stopped down to check out and grab some breakfast. The breakfast was so bad, we stopped at the Dunkin Donuts around the corner instead. The girl who checked us out at the front desk barely said a word to us besides asking if we wanted a copy of the receipt. It was the icing on the cake of a terrible stay.We were completely appalled that this "hotel" was part of the Days Inn chain, and would never recommend this place to anyone. After this experience, we will never stay at another Days Inn.
