“Great Hotel, Rude Overnight Staff!”

  , East Haven
We stayed at this hotel twice, Sept 2012 and Oct 2012. During our last trip (Oct 19-22) we had two rooms on the second floor. The first night, we received a phone call around 2 A.M. from the desk saying "keep it down, you are being too loud"... we apologized, and didn't think anything of the fact we weren't being loud, we were actually watching tv and just about asleep! The second night, we get a phone call around 1:30 A.M... same thing, "keep it down you are being loud, last warning!" My boyfriend asked "how are we being loud? we just got back to the room from six flags 2 minutes ago!" the woman at the desk said "There are complaints that you have people in/out of your room, and you are loud". Well, that was the end of that. We were being blamed for the young punk kids next door (whom were drinking, smoking pot, and partying). Night staff needs to investigate the complaints a bit better. We like the morning/afternoon crew... super sweet and friendly staff. Otherwise, the hotel was great! Beds are a bit small for 2 adults, but we managed.
