“The first day of my stay I went by the hotel at 6:30 a.m...”

  , Ridgeland
The first day of my stay I went by the hotel at 6:30 a.m., to ask what was the earliest I could check in and was told 10:30 a.m. I come back to the hotel at 12:00 p.m, the desk clerk who is out front on the sidewalk about to smoke a cigarette advises there were still a few more rooms to be cleaned and for me to try back in about an hour. I return at 4:00 p.m., after my out-of-town work day to finally get checked in. That night, the $100 cooler full of about $40 worth of water and beverages is stolen from my work-truck, a bold manuever given the camper-shell it was in was locked. When I asked the front-desk if they kept a record of such incidents on the property, the response was to call the police. It was necessary to extend my business stay for another night, the desk-clerk on duty, while helpful, asked that I return when the night clerk gets to work, to be sure no mistakes or inconsistencies are made to my bill.As far as the room is concerned, for the litte time I was in it I found it to be clean and comfortable. The only negative I would mention is both the rooms I stayed in on two separate occassions had dry-wall repairs that were less than professional. The locks on the room doors at this location were a nightmare. The key I was issued, would not open my room and when I returned to the desk, she put me in another room, which led me to believe lock malfunctions were common at this location. I happened to be in the lobby when two guests reported not being able to get their doors to lock.
