“Not so great an experience”

  , Los Angeles
I got there at 7 am after a red eye flight, the rooms were full but there were people checking out. I was told to wait for the maids to come in to clean a room for me. I was directed to the cafe for b/fast which was ok and then took a nap in the reception area until 10-11 am when i was woken up that a room was ready. The morning staff were okay it was the afternoon staff when I woke up later to ask for things to do. They were talking around me in spanish and laughing as I asked for what was good to do around town. Let me make it clear they were tlaking about me and what I was asking. I thought this was unprofessional and rude, i have stayed in many hotels and rely on hotel staff to tell me about great local things to do and as such with them talking in spanish and laughing, I didnt trust their advice and set off on my own. My room key didnt work that night and the next morning and they had to use a master key to get me into the room. There were little bugs that looked like ants crawling in the room. I would not stay here again
