“Had issues, but not bad”

Making the reservations directly with the hotel required a lot of patience and time. the hotel member was of eastern descent and had a basic knowledge of English. I was not permitted to take food to the room for my family, this was a first for me. The morning desk person, stated he would remove the pet fee, then decided he would not remove the pet fee unless I provided documentation for the pet as a service animal, upon explaining in grave detail why the documentation was not available, he stated once I got the documentation the hotel would refund the money, I did report two issues with the room, hair and excessive water in the fridge (apparently was defrosted, but the staff left the fridge door closed during the process, and excessive dirt in the AC unit. Towels were thinner than normal hotel towels. Did receive a letter from the hotel management later explaining the corrections made to the room, so a plus for them. The AC unit was off, and the room did smell musty, and was humid. just as much as outside, but once the AC was up and running, that did help with the humidity issue.
