Dear Melissa FThank you for your review. I do apologize about the situation with the Palmetto bug in your room. This is unavoidable at times especially since they are attracted to light. We do have a small portion of the hotel setup with smoking rooms and it is unfortunate that you did not pre book a non smoking room as that would have helped prevent the inconvenience of having to stay in a smoking room. I would like to assure you that had there been a non smoking room available, my staff would have gladly let you stay in that room. We are having the carpets cleaned over the next few weeks to address the issue you noted. I would really welcome the opportunity to have you stay with us again in the future so that you can see first hand that we are able to provide you with satisfactory accommodations at a reasonable price point.RegardsAjit « hide

Dear Terese S.Thank you for taking time to post your review. I am sorry that it took a while to get hot water in your room. Unfortunately due to the time of day, running water in the sink with our low flow faucet, it does take a while to bleed the cold water in the line. A much quicker way is to allow the hot water to run in the bathtub. I do hope you give us another try as this issue is really something that can easily be resolved.Kind regardsAjit « hide

Dear Richard B.I do appreciate that you have been a loyal guest for Days Inn for over 20 years. Once I read your review I was a dismayed that your stay was not totally satisfactory. I apologize about the crack that emitted light from under the door, the loose shower fixture and the bathroom fan. I want to assure you that those items have been attended to. Aside from this, you did score us well on cleansiness, service and location so it was nice to see that there were many aspects of your stay that did meet your expectations. Dear Robert M.I am sorry to hear your stay was not satisfactory. We had just installed new carpets in February so I am confused by your comment about the dirty socks, especially since you stayed in March. I will ask my maintenance staff to inspect the rooms to see if any need to be shampooed. I am uncertain how to respond to your comment about the quality of the people. We have families, business people, enlisted military, blue collar individuals etc. stay with us on a constant basis. A vast majority of these guests do have a pleasant stay and often return. I am sad to hear that you did not enjoy your stay at our property.RegardsAjit « hide
