“no wifi”

stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and the wifi never worked on either our phones or our tablet. each attempt to find out what the problem was, was met with assorted vague answers ranging from "no one else has complained" to "try rebooting your computer" and "i heard comcast has a tower down somewhere" with no real attempt to solve the problem or assure me that it was being looked at or even to check back with me to see if i was still having a problem after several complaints over the 4 night period. a simple "i'm sorry we don't have working wifi" would have been appreciated. i wouldn't have spent valuable time and energy trying to troubleshoot the problem from my end with my devices .i got the impression the staff were well aware of the problem but decided to act like there was no problem and that most guests wouldn't care too much or notice at all. if i would have been given a straight answer the first time, i would have likely made other hotel arrangements for this stay, but i kept thinking it would be working "the next time i tried" and for this i am very disappointed.
