“Worst Stay Ever At Days Inn”

my wife and i have stayed at this days in in taos many times. usually everything in fine. not this time. this was my worst motel stay ever, i think.upon check-in 4 or 5 girls were behind the counter checking their phones for messages, i guess. one girl was helpful but was very distracted. i had requested a fridge for the room and a first floor room. neither happened in a motel that never seemed 1/2 full.we stayed from friday thru monday. saturday and sunday, the rooms were not cleaned at all, not even touched, and i had to ask for additional towels and wash cloths that were supposed to be replaced every day. on sunday evening, i had to ask at the front desk twice because the front desk line was constantly busy. i did finally get the towels and wash cloths, though - and some more coffee.the towels we did receive were clean but a bit tattered. best to replace torn towels. but, they appeared clean!the morning breakfast was pitiful. the worst i've seen, i think. on monday, breakfast didn't even happen! we were told by one of the girls that somebody didn't show up so there was no breakfast. obviously bulls...t. i think they were just too lazy to put something out.lastly, they programmed our card keys wrong so they expired early. yet another needless hassle.so, this was our worst stay ever at the days inn, and probably our worst stay anywhere, ever.someone is not managing the property well, if at all.michael
