“Good location for where we needed to be”

  , Douglasville
We found this hotel was in a good location, but the staff didn't have much to work with. Ownership really tried to cut corners anywhere they could. At least, that's my opinion. We travel on business every week all over GA & SC, so we know what to expect in a hotel. This Days Inn wanted $5.00 a night for a mini fridge, had wifi that we couldn't access. (We were told we couldn't because we had an IPad). And charged $5.00 more for a room on the first floor. No breakfast provided due to an IHOP located onsite. But we could get a whole 10% discount if we ate there. We also could not fax anything from the hotel because the clerk did not know how to work it, so I tried to use it. The reason no one showed him how to work it, is because it didn't work, so we had to pay another business to fax our required paperwork in. There was no business center where we could access the internet. Something that would have been nice since we were crazy enough to bring our IPad, thinking we could use it. The mattress was from the nineties and felt that way. The staff was friendly, but ownership gave the Days Inn brand a large black eye!
