We are sorry that your stay was not what you expected. We have been booked up for all of October so any rooms we have had available were in the older part of our building. We always advise each guest that we have these rooms available if we do. We also advise them that they are smoking rooms or in the corrider if that is the case. We invite each guest to see these rooms and decide if they want it. It is unfortunate that we could not accomodate you better and we are working to get these rooms updated. « hide

We understand that not every guest will like the decor of the rooms and everyone has their own tastes, however our rooms are clean and maintained to the best of our ability. As one of five Hotel, Motels in Clayton, we all offer the best we can. In our case, focus is on clean comfortable rooms and the best service we can offer. We do appreciate the input from our guests and do try to improve in every area we can. « hide

We are sorry you were not pleased with the accomodations. When we are nearly booked up we generally put each guest in the room type requested in their reservation. As for those who do not have a reservation, we use the rooms we have available after the guests that made reservations ahead have been accomodated. Not every room in every motel is ideal and we are no exception to that. We do however let the guest know what we have available and if it is a smoking or non smoking room. Unfortunately smoking rooms smell like what they are to one degree or another and given that our rooms open to the outside we might get other outside odors from time to time. We cannot control every situation that occurs and again we are sorry your stay was not the best. We invite you to try us again and we will do our utmost to make any future stay the best it can be. « hide

We are sorry your visit was in any way less than you expected. We try to make repairs as we become aware of them, either through inspection or by a guest making us aware of an issue. Under normal circumstances those rooms would not be used until the problem is resolved but if the Motel was totally booked it presents the dilema of accomodating all the outside bookings as best we can. That includes sending guests to other area motels if needed. If the entire area is totally booked as it was through every weekend in October, we do our very best to give the guests a room. Again we are sorry that your stay was less than expected and we will use the information you provided to improve our business. « hide

As with other motels that work with in-season rates, we try to stay competative with the other motels in our area. We offer discounts to each guest if they apply to keep our rates as reasonable as we can. We try to give each guest the best service we can and we want each guest to leave feeling that even though we are not the biggest or best, we give good value for the rates. We are sorry you did not feel that way. We will use your response as a way to improve in every area we can. « hide
