“Offline”

Arrived on Monday evening, got online and checked my email. I then went to dinner and when I returned the internet was down. I called the front desk who said they had had no reports of issues but would check into it. The next morning there was still no internet. That evening after work, I arrived to find the internet still down. I reported it again and received the same response. Wednesday, I returned to the hotel to find not only the internet down, but my room was not cleaned that day. I went to the front desk to speak to the third different front desk attendant. I received the same non caring answer. I then took my entire frustration out on this employee. He assured me the General Manager would call me the next day. The Manager did call, was very apologetic and said two defective routers had been replaced. He then offered me a discount on that night's (my final) stay. I believe the GM's intentions were sincere and his staff's actions was not a reflection of his own, but shouldn't his staff have had the same since of urgency. This is a reflection of the management of this facility.
