“Don't get your hopes too high.”

  , Prattville
Took a trip to GA for a two-day race my kids were in. So really just needed a decent place to sleep. I checked the reviews and assumed this would be fine for that. As a women travelling alone with my kids, i wasn't 100% comfortable with the location when we got there. The lobby is tiny, seats about 4. The 'Breakfast bar' appeared to be the size of a coffee station. So pretty much wrote off breakfast right away. The room appeared to be fine at first. Then as i tried to get into the tiny bathroom, the door hits the shower curtain rod and you basically have to stand on the toilet to close the door. I realize this is an older hotel so tried to be somewhat forgiving. The only way to plug in the coffee pot is over the sink, so you have to stick it into the little corner by the sink. The creamer was old dried up and lumpy. There were several hairs in the shower that, lets just say weren't ours. The washcloth was like sandpaper and had a large inch-long hole in it. However the towels were clean and soft. My biggest problems were A) the sheets & cover had cigarette burn holes in them, along with several stains around the burnholes that were either burns, blood or something else (this was a non-smoking room). You can hear every footstep the room above takes along with the floor creaking. So between 4am and 4.45am i was wide awake while the guy/people above walked back & forth getting ready to leave. Also, when i tried to plug up my phone charger in the available outlets, it fell out of (3) out of (4) of them. Oh and the remote control didn't turn the TV on or off because the button was jammed in. So all in all: Don't get your hopes up too high about breakfast because i don't even remember seeing anything on the bar when i checked out the next morning at 8am. The room was basically clean & tidy. A little more attention would go a long way though. If you aren't expecting much you won't be disappointed. I'll skip it next time.
