“Wonderful staff”

The motel itself is above average relative to others in the area - nice pool area, pretty good breakfast, smallish but clean rooms. But what made this place stand out for us was the niceness of the staff - always a smile, always a hello, making us feel we were their most important guests. We decided to change rooms on arrival - a larger room with kitchenette area instead of a hot tub. As we were moving our things - AIEEEEEE!!! The bag with our wine fell off the cart and broke all over the tile area in front of the hot tub. Fortunately it wasn't super expensive wine, but still. And we felt so bad about the housekeeping nightmare we created. But did the woman at the front desk who took care of us through it all show even a hint of irritation with us? No - nothing but sympathy for our lost wine and even a little humor to make us feel better about the mess we created. We've stayed here before, and it's been a little while since we've been at this Days Inn (not for any particular reason), but we will definitely come back again because of the great experience we had.
