“Fair to Middlin'”

While the room was very clean, it was disappointing to see that the wallpaper in the bathroom was seriously peeling off, especially behind the door. The manager's explanation that they were waiting to hire a new maintenance person did not seem to me to be entirely accurate (it had clearly been peeling for months!).For those of us with a problem eating sugar, the breakfast selections could have been better -- whole wheat bread, unsweetened yoghurt, cottage cheese, bananas, for example, in addition to Frosted Flakes, Raisin Flakes, white bread, mini donuts, and some sort of wrapped sugar pastry -- it can't cost any more and might even cost less. It just seemed a little stereotyped and slightly dismissive of American tastes in breakfast. These two items aside, the motel was fine -- convenient, fairly priced, clean.
