Dear Pamela L., Thank you for your feedback of your recent experience. I must apologize about the heater smoke smell in your room. In preparation for the winter, we burn off any dust settlements on the heater filaments located inside the HVAC units to prevent our guests from experiencing the unpleasant odor. Due to the unseasonably warm winter, our heaters have not been frequently used and apparently your unit had re-accumulated dust settlements prior to your use. I will make sure this is added to our preventative maintenance schedule. Our guests are welcome to watch whatever channel they would like; however, we find that most of our guests prefer to watch FOX or CNN in the morning, so we usually set it for those channels.
