“A Total Disappointment”

I booked seven rooms at this hotel for my wedding guests. I was totally disappointed and embarrased that I asked them to stay at this hotel. I have always regarded Days Inn as a good value, clean and appropriate rooms. Well this experience has taught me to never trust a Days Inn again without first checking out the property.The closet shelf was hanging off the wall, guests were put into smoking rooms even though I reserved non-smoking, coffee grinds from previous guests were left to mildew in the coffee pot to greet my guests upon wakeup, no one would eat at the continental breakfast for fear of what it was, and the wifi internet never worked (which was a problem for all of my guests). I went to greet my guests on Friday night to be shocked by the motel. I went to the front desk to find out what was going on with guests in smoking that were not suppose to be, and was told that guests hadn't checked out and they didn't have enough rooms. The air conditioning did not work in one room. I had one guest who arrived very late Friday night that was greeted in the lobby by a man wrapped in a blanket. They never would check in the motel because they were insightful. I had booked to stay with my guests for Saturday night but could not force myself to stay in such conditions. All but two of my rooms either checked out or left early due to the conditions.
