“Great for the value.”

The quality of your visit seems to depend on what floor you get- the 3rd floor was HORRIBLE- weird smell, dogs yapping, loud people (loud & questionable that the police ended up coming & arresting someone I think). The 2 rooms (1st a smelly & semi-dirty queen, then a decent double) we stayed in the first night were on the 3rd floor. It was marginally worth the price we paid, but barely. We were moved because the nonsmoking Queen room we paid for wasn't available- 1st to a double (which at least looked clean enough to sleep on the sheets), and then to a king when I told them I wanted a price change (since I paid for more than I was getting, even if it was cheap to begin with- they didn't want to do that, & I guess they couldn't find a queen, so they put us in a king). The 2nd night of our stay we were moved to a king on the 1st floor, which was SO much better- a LOT cleaner, although just as tiny as the other 2 rooms we stayed in/saw the night before. So, having "stayed" in a double, queen, and king room during our stay, the best advice I can give is to make sure you're not on the 3rd floor! 3rd floor seems good only for people with pets, people that come to party, or people that don't have high cleaning standards. The first floor had free wifi (not available in the rooms, only downstairs), cleaner rooms (floors with no spots, clean sheets-although they smelled heavily of bleach), no yapping pets or weird smells, and no loud unsavory people- unless you include the random kids running around. The staff there seemed nice enough though, and even though they didn't really want to fix our room issues (and if they didn't, I would've blasted them on here and called BBB, since they would've been charging me for something they didn't deliver- charging me for a queen room, but then doing a bait & switch by sticking me in a smelly double), they DID fix them, and were pleasant. Had we gotten a queen on the first floor to begin with, I'd probably give this 5 star across the board. Even with our issues, I think we got a great value. Works great for business trip, weekend getaway with your significant other. I'd hate to be stuck in one of those tiny rooms with kids though (maybe that's why they were running around in the hallways). Oh, and the pancake house on the same street, by Nerge road, is beyond awesome. Best breakfast and lunch I've had in a long time.
