“Very Stinky Room”

  , Bolingbrook
We booked a room at this Days Inn because it was close to Starved Rock and we wanted to get a head start. We were taking our dog so they apparently gave us a room where dogs normally stay which would have been ok with me. But the minute we opened the room to the door, we got this nasty dog smell. We have a dog and my house does not smell that way. The only explanation would be if there were dogs that had done their business on those carpets so we all had to keep our shoes on in the room as I could not see the stains since the carpet was a very dark color. Even our dog was not comfortable in the room as he would not lay on the carpet. I was afraid he would try to mark his territory so we had to keep our eye on him all night due to the strong smell of other dogs but he did not. We have stayed in other hotels that allow dogs and did not have this problem. Let's just say I was glad that we only stayed there one night.
