“A little dissapointed”

  , Charlotte
Usually when staying at this hotel, I am quite satisfied however, this time, I was ready to go when I arrived. I was given a corner room that was way too small. It was situated at the end of a stairway with direct access to the beach. If I wanted a view, I had to open the curtains. Whenever I did, I got no privacy because people could look directly into my room as they came up the stairs. Often they would stand and look at the beach from the stairs simply because it was a great place to stand and talk for a while. Needless to say, I had to get whatever view I could from the small bathroom window. The way the furniture was arranged made it very uncomfortable to move around. Usually, when I stay here, I would be given a full kitchen even if I had not requested one, this time, I received a rusty mini frig, a tv with spotty reception, and a coffee maker. Construction was also going on which made the stay loud and annoying. The staff tried their best but seemed as if they were short on help.. My room was partially cleaned for each of the three days I was there. Coffee was not replenshed and there was a smell that I tried to mask with a deodorizer. The comforter on the bed was the type that had to be drycleaned so it was very dirty. To be safe, I just took it off the bed. The sheets and blanket seeemed clean enough. Great location, friendly managers but I'm afraid I have spent my last night here.
