“Low priced hotel”

  , Normal
Front desk clerk, Chris, was very polite and helpful. The hotel is pretty old and in need of updating and cleaning -- and this statement is made keeping the expectations in line with the cost. Sheets had holes in them, as well as the blanket was torn. Had a single bed room (MUCH smaller than a queen bed) and the bathroom is so small I honestly doubt a person with much size would be able to get dried and dressed in there after a shower -- you literally have about 2' x 2.5' of space max (no kidding).Don't think the door that connected the hallways to the outside was ever locked (doubt it can be locked since it is the main entrance to hotel). Problem is anyone can go in the doors and immediately up the steps to the rooms without needing to pass the front desk.Overall we were happy to have a room considering we had no reservations and all the other hotels in the area jacked their fees up high that evening. Would likely make sure had a reservation in the future and we likely would not stay here unless we had to -- with that said Chris was a positive part of the stay.
