“Wedding Weekend - Groom's Mother”

I reserved a suite for three people to attend a wedding. One person was the Mother of the Groom. When I checked into the hotel I was told that even though I provided a confirmation, there was only one suite in this hotel and it had been previously booked. I was told a roll away could be provided. Not wanting to put the Groom's Mother in a crowded room, I booked an additional room for her for the night prior to the wedding only, and requested a rollaway the remainder of the nights - which was two additional nights. The first night there were no further problems. However the second night - we called twice for the rollaway and finally were told that there wasn't one available. Even though we requested it when we checked in. There was an apology provided by the staff for the incorrect room reservation and the lack of a rollaway when we needed it. No further attempt to accommodate us was made. I will never stay at a Days Inn again.I can be reached by e-mail at kathyleo2008@aol.com. I usually stay in Marriotts and there is a world of difference in the customer service provided by them and Days Inn. I understand the hotels differ, I found Days Inn to be adequate in furnishings and decor, but not in customer service.
