“Would NOT stay at this Days Inn again”

This Days Inn should be ashamed! We recently stayed here and will never come back to this hotel again. I do not know where to start...I guess I will start with the lack of security of the hotel. The back door entrance card pass has been removed and the door hangs open. The security camera facing that back door has been removed and wires are literally hanging from the ceiling! The room itself was "dirty". Hair still in the shower, looks like piles of dirt, paper and misc dust just wept behind bathroom door corner and left. There was paint strips peeling off the bathroom ceiling. I;m not talking just little chips of paint but strips at least the size of my finger just hanging... I was refused an extra bath towel from the desk clerk and was told there was enough in my room when there were only 2 bath sized towels for my husband and myself. There was a dog in a hotel room close to me that barked several times during the night and then around 7am the next morning. The front desk told me there was no way there was a dog in their hotel so I guess I must have imagined that as well. The continental breakfast was cleaned up nearly 20 minutes early. I went down about 8:40 and they were just finishing cleaning up the breakfast items but then I was told there were several restaurants in the area I could visit for breakfast! The manager/owner of this hotel CLEAR wants money but not upkeep of running a hotel!! I believe Days Inn corporation needs to pay this hotel a surprise visit because I do not believe Days Inn would affiliate themselves with this type of hotel management and customer satisfaction! Very Very Sad!
