“Don't eat here”

  , Champaign
I thought the room was adequate and slept well. However, the breakfast offering needs to be revamped. The sign outside the property said "hot breakfast". The sausage gravy was cold and gelatinous and had a sweet taste, which was awful. I spit it out immediately and hoped I wouldn't get food poisoning from the improperly prepared food. I am a veterinarian with food safety training, and I can guarantee that gravy and the sausage were not held at 160degrees. This is a recipe for disaster and food poisoning. Don't offer (and advertise)a hot breakfast if it isn't hot at the correct temperature! It wasn't even lukewarm!
